Rainbow and Cloud Art Project

Construction paper (various colors)
Glue stick
Cotton balls
Printable outline (or hand-drawn outline of a rainbow and clouds)
Preparation: Provide each student with a variety of colored construction paper, a glue stick, cotton balls, and a rainbow/cloud outline.
Tearing the Paper: Have the students rip the construction paper into small pieces, sorting them by color.
Creating the Rainbow: Instruct the students to glue the colored paper pieces onto the rainbow outline, following the color order of a rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet).
Adding the Clouds: Once the rainbow is complete, students will glue cotton balls onto the cloud areas of the outline, creating fluffy clouds.
Display and Discuss: Allow students to share their artwork with the class, discussing the colors they used and how they created their rainbows and clouds.
