Disciplina: Science
Ano escolar: 2nd | 3rd
Tipo de Recurso:
Tags:

Materials Required:

Flipbook template (or materials for creating a flipbook, such as paper, markers, and scissors)
Access to research materials (books, internet, articles)
Optional: materials for alternative presentation formats (website-building tools, model-making supplies, etc.)
Computer or tablet (for research and presentation creation)
Steps Involved:

Introduction: Introduce the concept of water conservation and the importance of preserving water resources. Pose the guided inquiry question: “How can we conserve water?”
Research: Allow students to choose their focus within the broader topic of water conservation. Encourage them to conduct research to understand why conserving water is crucial and to identify potential solutions to water-related problems.
Flipbook Creation: Students will organize their research findings into a flipbook. Each section of the flipbook should address a different aspect of water conservation, such as the importance of water, problems related to water wastage, and actionable solutions.
Alternative Presentations: If students prefer, they can present their findings through other formats, such as creating a website, building a model, writing a book, or even delivering a TED talk.
Presentation: Have students present their flipbook or alternative project to the class, explaining their research process and the solutions they propose for conserving water.
Reflection: After the presentations, encourage a class discussion on the different approaches to water conservation and the creative ways students chose to present their findings.
