Preparation:

Set up the painting area with canvases or large sheets of paper. Ensure that the area is protected from paint splashes.
Prepare small containers of paint in various colors and place them near the catapult stations.
Demonstrate Painting Technique:

Show students how to load paint onto the catapult. Use small cups or bowls to hold the paint and then carefully transfer a small amount into the bottle cap or scoop of the catapult.
Painting with the Catapult:

Have students take turns using their catapults to fling paint at the canvases. Encourage them to experiment with different colors, distances, and angles to create unique patterns and designs.
Clean-Up:

Ensure that students clean up any spills and wash their hands and any used materials thoroughly.
Reflection:

After the painting session, have students reflect on their experience. Discuss how the principles of the catapult were applied to create their artwork and the different effects achieved with various techniques.
