Explain that they will be creating a necklace with their name on it.
String Preparation (5 minutes):
Provide each student with a piece of string or yarn long enough to make a necklace.
Show them how to tape one end of the string to the table to prevent beads from falling off.
Bead Selection (10 minutes):
Give students a selection of letter beads or charms to spell out their name.
Allow them to choose additional colorful beads to decorate their necklace.
Stringing Beads (15 minutes):
Guide students in stringing the letter beads to spell their name, followed by the decorative beads.
Assist students in tying the ends of the string to complete the necklace.
Sharing and Discussion (10 minutes):
Allow students to show their finished necklaces to the class.
Discuss the different names and the significance of each.
Reinforce the idea of celebrating personal names and individuality.
