Greater Than, Less Than with Objects

Small objects (e.g., blocks, counters, beads).
Greater than (>) and less than (<) cards..Provide each student with a set of small objects. Divide the objects into two groups with different quantities. Ask students to compare the two groups and place the appropriate symbol card (greater than > or less than <) between them. Discuss the comparisons and reinforce the concepts of greater than (>) and less than (<).
