Materials Required:
Fraction cards (free printable fraction cards can be used)
Plastic spoons (one per player)
Steps Involved:
Preparation: Print and cut out the fraction cards. Ensure each player has a set of cards.
Game Setup: Distribute the cards to each player. Place the plastic spoons in the center of the table.
Gameplay: Play the game similar to traditional Spoons. Players try to collect four matching fraction cards. When a player collects four of a kind, they grab a spoon, and everyone else must quickly grab for the remaining spoons.
Letter Assignment: The player who does not get a spoon takes a letter from the word “SPOON” and adds it to their collection. The game continues with players who have letters in “SPOON.”
Winning and Losing: The game continues until a player has collected all five letters of “SPOON.” This player is considered the loser of the game.
