Paper and crayons/markers..Give each student a piece of paper and crayons or markers.
Describe a scene step-by-step using directional terms, e.g., “Draw a sun up in the top corner,” “Draw a tree in the front of the house,” “Draw flowers down on the ground,” etc.
Encourage students to follow each direction and compare their drawings with their classmates.
