Construction of Working Model of the Heart

Materials Required:
Small balloons
Large balloons
PVC pipe cap
IV set (drip pipe)
Medical physio care ball
Plastic tape
Tools (scissors, hot glue gun, etc.)
Thread (yarn)
Steps Involved:
Take a 0.5” PVC pipe and make two holes in the PVC pipe cap.
Cut the collar off a small balloon and fix it on the drip pipe using tape.
Cut the balloon from the center and prepare the second valve in the same way.
Cut one drip pipe to a length of one inch and fix it into the center hole of the PVC pipe cap.
Fix the long drip pipe into the other hole from the inside of the cap.
Take a physio medical care ball and cut it into the center, trimming some parts if necessary.
Attach the valves to the ball using a hot glue gun.
Cover the ball with a large balloon, completing the first part of the heart model.
Fix the drip chamber onto the small valves with a hot glue gun and cut the nose tip of the drip chamber.
Connect two more drip pipes to the drip chamber.
Assemble all parts of the heart model and join them with tape.
Your working model of the heart is now ready!
