Materials Required:
Circular disc (paper or cardboard)
Markers or colored pencils
Scissors (if cutting out disc)
Optional: Fasteners or brads for rotating disc
Steps Involved:
Create or print a circular disc with sections representing different parts of the circulatory system (e.g., heart, arteries, veins, capillaries).
Use markers or colored pencils to label each section and color-code the different components.
If using multiple discs, fasten them together with a brad or fastener in the center so they can rotate.
Have students use the disc to trace the path of blood through the circulatory system.
Discuss how blood flows through each part of the system and the role of each component.
Encourage students to explain the circulatory system to their peers using the disc as a visual aid.
