Construction paper
Food ads from the grocery store or printouts of food pictures
Glue

Steps Involved:
Begin by gluing or writing the word “Menu” at the top of a piece of construction paper.
Allow your child to choose foods from the grocery ads or printouts that they’d like to add to their menu.
Have your child cut out the selected food items. If they are working on fine motor skills, they can cut the items themselves.
Help your child glue the food items onto the construction paper, arranging them as they like.
Assist your child in labeling each food item on the menu. You can write the words in yellow for them to trace, or help them sound out the words to write on their own. Optionally, add prices to the items for a basic math exercise.
Once complete, your child has a custom-made menu that they can use for dramatic play, encouraging imaginative role-play as they pretend to run a restaurant or café.
