Introduction (10 minutes):

Discuss the significance of World Environment Day and the importance of making personal commitments to protect the environment.
Explain the activity: students will create a display with a cut-out of the Earth and write their personal pledges to the environment on small strips of paper.
Creating the Earth Cut-Out (15 minutes):

Provide students with large craft paper or poster board. Have them draw and color a large image of the Earth, or provide pre-drawn templates for students to color and cut out.
Encourage creativity in decorating the Earth, adding details like trees, oceans, and landforms.
Writing Pledges (15 minutes):

Distribute small strips of paper to students. Ask them to write personal pledges on these strips, such as “I pledge to reuse things,” “I will fix broken items,” “I promise not to litter,” etc.
Students can use markers and colored pencils to decorate their pledges.
Assembling the Display (20 minutes):

Once the Earth cut-out and pledges are ready, assist students in arranging the pledges around the Earth on the poster board or display area.
Secure the pledges to the board using glue or tape, positioning them around the Earth cut-out in a visually appealing manner.
Presentation (15 minutes):

Have students present their pledges to the class, explaining the commitments they’ve made and why they are important.
Encourage classmates to ask questions and discuss the various pledges and their impact on the environment.
Reflection (10 minutes):

Reflect on the activity by discussing what students learned about personal responsibility in environmental conservation.
Talk about how students can implement their pledges in their daily lives and the positive effects these actions can have on the environment.
