Multiplication with Arrays

Graph paper
Colored markers
Small objects (e.g., counters, beans).Introduce the concept of multiplication as repeated addition.
Give each student a piece of graph paper and colored markers.
Ask the students to create arrays for different multiplication problems (e.g., 3×4, 2×5) using small objects.
Have them color in the corresponding squares on the graph paper to represent the arrays.
Discuss the total number of objects in each array and how it relates to multiplication.
