Exploring the Map (10 minutes)

Give each student a simplified map of their chosen destination.
Help them identify key landmarks and areas on the map.
Encourage them to use crayons or markers to highlight places they want to visit.
Planning the Day Trip (15 minutes)

Provide each student with a blank day trip itinerary template.
Ask them to draw or write down their planned activities for the day.
Encourage them to think about the order of activities (e.g., visiting the playground first, then having lunch).
Decorating the Itinerary (10 minutes)

Allow students to decorate their itineraries with stickers, stamps, and drawings.
Make it fun and engaging to personalize their plans.
Sharing the Plans (10 minutes)

Each student presents their day trip plan to the class.
Encourage them to talk about why they chose certain activities and what they are excited about.
Reflection and Discussion (5 minutes)

Reflect on what they learned about planning and using maps.
Discuss any challenges they faced and how they solved them.
Praise their creativity and effort.
