Explain that they will be going on a scavenger hunt to find different physical features.
Preparation (5 minutes):

Provide each student with a scavenger hunt checklist, clipboard, and pencil.
Review the items on the checklist and how to find and identify them.
Scavenger Hunt (20 minutes):

Take the students outside to a designated area (e.g., schoolyard, park).
Allow them to explore and find as many items on the checklist as possible.
Encourage them to use magnifying glasses to get a closer look at small items.
Sharing and Discussion (15 minutes):

Return to the classroom and have students share what they found.
Discuss the characteristics of the physical features they observed.
Reinforce the idea of respecting and appreciating the local environment.
Reflection (5 minutes):

Ask students to identify one new physical feature they discovered.
Reinforce the importance of observing and appreciating the local environment.
