Discuss the importance of first aid and how it helps in emergencies.
Explain that they will be exploring the contents of a first aid kit.
Item Identification (15 minutes):
Show students each item in the first aid kit one by one.
Discuss the name and purpose of each item.
Allow students to handle the items and pass them around.
Matching Activity (10 minutes):
Provide pictures or flashcards of each item.
Have students match the real items with the pictures/flashcards.
Guide them in labeling each item on a large piece of paper or poster board.
Discussion and Review (10 minutes):
Allow students to share what they learned about each item.
Reinforce the importance of knowing what each item is used for.
Discuss when and how to use the items in a first aid situation.
Reflection (5 minutes):
Ask students to identify the item they think is most important and explain why.
