Counting Objects

A variety of small objects (e.g., buttons, counters, blocks)..Provide each student with a collection of small objects.
Instruct students to count out a specific number of objects (e.g., 30 buttons).
Ask students to group the objects in sets of 10 for easier counting and visual grouping.
Repeat with different numbers up to 50.
Discuss the total number of objects and reinforce counting skills.
