Introduction:

Begin with a brief discussion about different continents and the types of animals that live in each region. Show examples like kangaroos in Australia, tigers in Asia, elephants in Africa, and polar bears in Antarctica.
Distribution of Materials:

Provide each student or group with a large world map and a set of animal pictures cut-outs.
Cutting Out Animals:

If the animal pictures are not pre-cut, have the students cut out the animal pictures.
Identifying Regions:

Ask students to identify and label the continents on their world map using markers.
Pasting Animals:

Students will use glue sticks to paste each animal cut-out onto the correct region of the world map where the animal is naturally found.
Review and Discussion:

Once all the animals are pasted, review the maps as a class.
Discuss any mistakes and correct them, reinforcing the natural habitats of each animal.
Extension Activity (optional):

Have students research and write a few sentences about each animal and its habitat, which they can then attach to their maps.
